The guardian looks to the front and to his right at once. Motherland has hands on his heart and ax, assured of loyalty.
SURREALISTIC
UNREAL REALITY :
I never liked making portraits of still objects or let's say have something dictating what to draw. Drawing straight out of my mind have been always my motto. Here you can see examples of realistic drawings, scripts and wall paintings and strange anatomy.
MAKE THE UNREAL LOOK REAL !
MOVE FORWARD :
Originally drawn during guarding at night when i was doing military service. The lady is Alexandria, depicted by the figure on Alexandria city's flag. She holds Egypt's staff so justice is seen throw her eyes. She wears the crowns of Greece and
Upper Egypt together.
ANIMAL BODY
Smilodons are extinct big cats that looked like lions, but where smaller in size, thought more muscular, making them perfect ambush hunters.
HAIR AND TAIL
Crocodiles were used
in ancient Egyptian myths, depicting an anti-man creature in the after life that eats sinners.
The cane is the same type Greeks used to sculpt lions.
THE DECORATIONS
Horus's feathers, an Egyptian warrior god.
Hair Helmet was a concept used by early dynasties' Egyptian warriors to protect the head without helmets.
The chin is that of the pharaohs of the late dynasties, very similar to the one used by the famous king Tut.
The use of true and mythological creatures that Ancient Egyptians have used is meant to associate this art work with Egypt.
This is also aided by the use of Egyptian weapons and warrior decorations.
WARRIOR
OF THE NILE
The Kopesh sword gained such a spiritual value for egyptian warriors and culture, that soldiers were burried with their Kopesh swords. Decorated non sharpened "spiritual" Kopesh swords were buried with warrior pharaohs
